Changing Hair Styles should be done by other players

Since we have new hair styles, of course we should be able to change them post- character creation.

There are 2 ways of approaching this.
1) Barber stands that let players change their hair by themselves. viewtopic.php?f=48&t=52371
2) Barbers/other players can change your hair style.

You may think "Why not both?", well 1 would completely defeat the purpose of 2.

I'd like to see Barbers/ have other players cut my hair personally, because most people don't normally cut their own hair, AND it would help encourage a little bit more player interaction.

Making an alt to barber your other account is not really a player interaction, but yeah any way to alter our old char's hair would be nice

I cut my own hair ... I've twice let other ppl near it, both professionals and they butchered it, never again!

But yeah, it would be nice if we could change our old chars hair ... you could make it like a market stall type of set up, so that maybe players would travel to a market to get their hair done and pay a price for it, the barber would have to be present - that would encourage player interaction ... though not much fun for the barber on a quiet day.

Give us a mirror (glass, some boards, silver nugget) that can be hung on a wall, when used enables to do the own hair (and shave).

Or a grooming station, with a table like the study desk, but with a mirror at the back and a chair, so you can sit at it and customise your appearance.

Why not both?

Actually, I have three options:

make a pair of scissors (1 bar of any metal). That allows you to cut your hair once a day to change the haircut at random. (If you try to cut before 24 hours have passed, it would say "But you would go bald!".)

Make a hand or wall mirror, use scissors with the mirror to choose a particular hairstyle.

Make it possible for a friend to use a scissors/mirror on you (you'd need to give permission) to trim your hair.

Might be more fun/encourage RP if scissors and/or mirrors required rare ingredients - like mirrors being made of glass set in pit clay, or scissors being made of steel and brimstone, or somesuchthing.

Would prefer both. Would kind of suck to have to spawn an alt just for the purpose, assuming we did add the ability to change post creation.

If the barber has less charisma than you you should get a wound that lowers your charisma by this Delta and takes a week or so to heal. Cutting your own hair counts as getting a haircut from a 10cha barber.
