New Types of Graves

Postby GamingRAM » Wed Dec 21, 2016 5:14 am

There's all sorts of ways to bury the dead, so why not have more?

Fancier tombstones made of more difficult materials could give better LP percentages to descendants.

+1 for Mausoleums. Perhaps one like this one for Teodorikh Velikiy:

While we're at it, why can't we bury bodies before they turn to skellertons?

I mean, unless waiting 24 hours before inheriting is an intentional mechanic.

I'm not opposed to stone coffins or even burial alcoves and niches into cave walls. The necropolis style is compatible to the game genre. As for benefits Ill leave that to Jorb and Loftar. I'd just be happy to see the variety.

I'm all for more styles of burial ... and I'd love it if we could carve statues out of runestones, for gardens as well as cemeteries. Maybe Jorb and Loftar could find a way to make it customisable, as with sketches ... or as a few set designs.

Considering how many decaying claims and hermitages there are on the map, a necropolis would be all too fitting indeed.

Some sort of burial mounds could be nice. Shouldn't give too high of a bonus, somethign that will make difference but main motivation for opting a "higher-tier" grave would be simply wanting the deceased character to have fancier grave.

More graves would be nice.
