Make it craftable with two pieces made from one piece of boar/pork meat. Also give bacon made from pork better FEPs to make pigs valuable. Can only be cooked with frying pan equiped.

There are many concerns about the usefulness of pigs...

So here's a fun idea:
Butchering an adult pig could possibly wield an unit of bacon. The greater the pig's quality, the more the chance to get it.
Bacon could then be roasted on a campfire/in an oven and once finished, it could be added to any food item by right clicking - just like Black Pepper - to dramatically increase FEP gains.

And when I say dramatically, I mean like 2~3 times better than pepper. However, as a 'price', bacon also increses the food's hunger gain.
