a thought on exploits and what could be done W10

Previously, i quit this game due to being bug raided, losing everything and having a light punishment on the perps, because they reported what they were going to do beforehand to jorb.
There always seems to be some bug that fucks over someone, so i propose again with this new world to change that.
If someone uses a bug to raid someone, and in doing so people are killed by this, and assets are destroyed, the people who have suffered by it should have their character and charter restored at the very least, and the location of the perps destroyed, and the perps characters destroyed.

You may say it's too hard to restore all that's lost, but I think restoring a character isn't too big of a deal.
In this way, it will be pointless to bug raid, because doing so will net you nothing, as opposed to the current way of handling it, i can refer you to my treatment at the hands of some half baked justice, early in the world.
Is my thinking flawed?

On the flipside, increase the reward for finding a major bug with something like 3 months of sub time and a cape. This will give even less incentive to hold onto a bug and try to sneakily employ it to fuck someone over without reprisal from jorbloft
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

I agree.
Most of the village that was bug raided by DIS at the start of W8 quit as well.

If we are all okay with Jorbtar arbitrarily nuking things that cross whatever line they wish, we should be okay with similar restorative sanctions.

I am 100% okay with Jorb nuking any exploiters/abusers/bots, including entire villages if the activity is mostly village wide. I'm willing to risk any slippery slope.

Doesn't gotta be like that, just make it pointless to bug raid, instead of profitable.

If someone uses a bug to raid someone, and in doing so people are killed by this, and assets are destroyed, the people who have suffered by it should have their character and charter restored at the very least, and the location of the perps destroyed, and the perps characters destroyed.

Your ideas presented as such can only work if devs are omniscient, which they are not. Because how would you reliably know such things as:
- Was someone really raided with bug? Or maybe the victims were just dumb about their defences?
- Was dead people really killed during this raiding? Or the guy who was raided just adds to the victim list his characters who died elsewhere?
- Where is the location of perps and who are the perps exactly? Scents were left by some guy with 200k lp earned total, who lives in a plain field in a village named "Idol#4598". Seems legit.

One may argue that those things were kinda obvious in your case. But if such approach were to be implemented, they will stop being obvious very fast.
One may say that devs can just do wih their best guesses, but then it would be such an awful slope.
Besides, as far as I am aware, there was no "bug raids" as such since your case. So I guess their current approach works for now?

On the flipside, increase the reward for finding a major bug with something like 3 months of sub time and a cape.

That would be somewhat nice, but probably won't happen. Also, definition of what constitute "major" bug commonly varies greatly between devs and person who reported bug.

100% agree. Bug-raiding should you and your gang deleted and your base[s] nuked.

DOWN WITH THE B-RAIDERS! DOWN WITH THE B-RAIDERS!
Total misplay.

W7: Semi-Hermit
W8: Semi-Hermit
W9-15: Lawspeaker of villages of myself-4 people.

Make report without exploiting the best option. I don't know how to do that, but someone's probably clever around here.
Come back two hours earlier.

You need developers to install code that gives them sight beyond sight! And a beer maker.
The vast majority of communication with others are not just words; it is also diction, body motion, and many other factors. Even doing nothing is communication in itself. The moment your eyes meet someone, you have initiated contact. In essential, it is a constant non-stop flow between two or more entities.

Bug and exploit raiders and molesters should be nuked mercilessly. Treated with the most severe, all-destroying prejudice.
"...the dungeon and shackles are already at my threshold to show me here and now my eternal disgrace. Only you can work the miracle to make life possible for a soul so imperiled by doubt, O Atoner for all, exalted beyond saying." - St. Gregory of Narek, Book of Lamentations, Prayer 1.

You are much loved! Love in return!
