Quests (Ideas & Systems)

Postby GageKK » Mon Jan 02, 2017 10:54 am

Whenever a new character is created we're first greeted by a small stream of quests providing us with experience and comfort in the new world. But quickly after the initial "how to" quests we're stuck chasing trees that provide redundant chores to complete. Instead, I think it would be much more interesting to have quality quests that we can complete for LP/Exp. I understand the curiosity system is a paced way to level, but it gets pretty tiresome. Now I'm not pitching that quests take over the LP system, what I am saying is that we provide a more rewarding questing system. Something that keeps the interest of the newer player while maintaining the love of the veteran. As a community, it's our responsibility to make our voices heard. That's why I'm proposing that we (a community) discuss possible quest ideas/story lines to assist the creators. All ideas are welcome and accepted so please leave your ideas below!
The only way to make sense of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

There is a whole section for ideas, this should be in there.

Generating more interesting quests is a noble goal, but also a huge topic.
