I know this can be a touchy thing time wise, but I have had this idea for a while.
This would add 2 more sets of quests.
Greater Spirit quests and Spirit Guide quests.
Greater spirits are from local special resources (so clay pits, hearthwood trees ect...). Yes they can act like the current sets of quests but are much grander in scope (so a whole chain or a massive list of things its asking you to do).
The rewards for this set of quests would have the basic set of items we can get (LP, XP, Hunger ect...) with a few special things added.
Food recipes, miner magic items (so like wind chimes to catch wind), ect... making people work for an increased amount of magic in there Hearthlings life. These quests could also give seeds for real/fantasy crops or plan-table herbs.
Spirit Guides are mainly an idea for when an area becomes more urban, they would create a glowing fiery ball of a spirit that acts like the other quest givers. It is hear to act in when people have ravaged an area (killing quest givers, ect...).
