Issue is within mechanics. Like so many fucking things capping everything, and death being permanent.
tbf as an long term hermit, and later, in village noob, that has taken on multiple jobs,
unless you are at the peak % of performance you can do most things now without making alts, we really have progressed from where we once where,
and if you have an big enough village , where everybody can specialize into one job, the workload is manageable, and most jobs dont require labour alts anymore,
if you are chasing the peak quality among the playerbase, and have to rush superiority though, you have to keep up with people that will exploit and utilize every concievable tool though, including botting ,alting,scripting etc, but thats the spirit of every competetive game, and aslong as it is allowed , some people will see it as neccesary, no matter how trivial and manageable the workload is,
that being said, there is still stupid , way to work and time intensive mechanics in the game, that reward alting even for the most casual player
