Bow/sling hunting

Right now hunting with bow or sling is completely useless as the quality loss is just so much. This especially hurts hermits who have to hunt alone, when the larger groups just use swarm tactics.
What if projectiles were capping the quality at most at half the original animal quality? There would still be incentive to hunt with melee weapons but ranged hunting could at least be considered.

In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.”

The double whammy of quality loss and overall damage nerf makes archery pointless, at the point it becomes useful you can have an ininitely more useful melee/Unarmed skill that doesn't cause quality loss on thing while you're skilling up to the same point Marksmanship becomes useful.

Its really only good for slinging rabbits for furs early game, and with the quality loss, you're better off just chasing them or following foxes.
