Remove gilding Affix from clothes and add more clothes

Postby pheonix » Mon Jan 23, 2017 6:14 pm

I have been staring at the equipment list a lot of late and one thing that saddens me a lot is that there are a lot of clothes that have random affixes or slots that have none of one type like Strength is on bear cape and Woodsman tunic and that's it, or Masonry/ int has no gear that matches it. I propose removing Gilding affix from clothes and instead make it more dependent on gilds affix combined with your character stats and then a quality gear vs quality Gild calculation.

I also ask if it is possible to make clothes variable as we can have different colours based on what we add like using the pigments you make for sketches. imagine having say a bear cape you could dye red or black or rangers capes that could end up being white/red/blue/pink etc and give us more colour variety instead of seeing everyone running around in the same coloured stuff. Potentially we could then have more valuable variable colours added either by store or mined like say gold or silver pigments etc. I personally feel this would add variety to the game and also help make characters different from the generic one or another and especially when someone is killed and seeing a generic nettle clothed noob or dhelm/batwing body displayed on forums and everyone going who could this be? well if they liked wearing white rangers capes then it narrows it down etc.

Reason for different affinity on clothing is that no men will make hard to make clothing if easy to make clothing is exact same.
