If the problem is excessive convenience, instead of showing a precise quantitative value on wild animal and crop inspection, why don't you show us a wider range of qualities instead? For example, instead of

Quality: 45

Inspection would give

Average grade Fox

or

This is an average grade fox

or something like that.

What I mean is that qualities should be classified according to broad categories so that we know that that deer is worth the wounds it will give us. More or less like

0-10: sickening
11-30: awful
31-40: poor
41-52: mediocre
etc.

That is better than nothing in my opinion.
