Interacting with wild animals (mouflon, horse, auroch)

Hello there!
Little QoL suggestion from a humble hermit.

The situation now:
1. Seek the wild animal (while having a clover in your inventory).
2. Run as close as you can.
3. Pick up clover from your inventory (meanwhile creature goes away).
4. Try to right-click on the animal with clover in your "hand".
5. The game freezes for a second.
6. Mis-click on animal and put a stockpile of flowers.
7. Go to #2 and start again.

Even if you was lucky enough to avoid #5-6 and fed the animal, here comes another round.

1. The animal goes away.
2. Run for it to get as close as you can.
3. Right-click and select option (for god sake - do it with keyboard numbers, don't try to left-click on flower-menu)
4. Start chasing the animal.
5. Stuck at the tree or loose your speed on swallow water.
6. Go for #2 and start again.

It is not the only option. You can be lucky and get what you need, but this is quite a common scenario.

So what can be changed?
We already have auto-feeder in Amber's client. Don't know if it fits properly into default client, so (in case it's doesn't) we can have a right-click menu on wild animals with "feed" option. That would greatly improve the life of the wanderer.
And another one. There should be some delay (5-10 sec) between "animal ate the clover" and "animal continues its path". That would be enough for char to interact with it. Really, it seems kinda weird that wild animal ate the food from the unknown stranger and immediately goes away. It should stay and look for awhile - maybe this guy has other yummy things?

Both additions seems pretty easy to implement (for me). What do you think?

if you capture the animal the first time, get a rope and bring it home. seclude it and yay. its now youyrs you can shear or milk it every 5 minutes costing 1 clover every time.

Maybe add a 5-6 second «munching» animation, which locks the animal in place after recieving a clover?
Great idea, i'm tired of chasing magical jesus-beasts waddling through marshes, +1.

step 1 find animal step 2 who cares how close u r if u see them then ur probably fine step 3 right click on animal with clover step 4 animal eats it step 5 switch to run step 6 mount or right click with rope if u miss click with the clover or the rope then just try again its really not hard at all not even a little i think ur problem might be that u dont have any hands i could see how it would be hard if u didnt have any hands also how the fuck is it difficult to click on the flower menu ive only ever use the amber client and the flower menus dont move after they open if you chase the animal right after they eat the clover then there shouldnt be any way ur running into shit because they cant run into shit so if u follow behind them then u wont run into shit either

One of the reasons custom clients exist is QoL changes which fix situations like that. F.e. all of the above is done by pressing one button in Amber.

Amber client gives you an option to automatically feed closest animal with a clover, you just need to run in the direction the animal is walking away and you have a 100% success rate of it eating the clover immediately.

Never knew about that!!! Wait...

Yeap, seems like I knew, more than that - it may be so we have it because of my suggestion, but we're talking about def.client improvements?

Also, even with auto-feed, it kinda pain-in-the-ass to milk an auroch ('cause you still have to pick a container on RMB-click on the animal.

I kind of like how it is a bit of a hassle.
