Toolbelt QoL

When using a tool from the toolbelt, could we have it so that the tool used is put back into the belt and the original item is placed back into your hands once the action has been completed?

When I first read about toolbelts, that's what I thought they originally did. when I found out that's not how they work, I was sorely dissapointed

Toolbelts are basically just to free up inventory space for me atm
