Steel Helmet Balance

There is no point in making plate helmet over winged helmet. Material cost is not balanced with the armor an stat effects.



Plate helmet should be buffed or made it so that when you wear it with rest of the steel gear:

you get a bonus to AC.

Bronze is soft and probably require much thicker plates to provide proper protection.

I guess it depends what kind of alloy is used for plates. But stainless steel indeed is lighter than bronze.

I'd say bronze is on average heavier than steel, but agility penalty doesn't have to correspond to weight, but rather to how the armor is constructed and how it hinders movement.

I would think the armor class over all for the steel helm should be improved.
