Seeds

Would it be within reason to ask why of the 17 variations of crops that 6 of them do not have a way to collect seeds from any harvest point? These being: Hops, both onion varieties, cucumber, peas, and peppercorns.

because with hops, peas and peppercorn the seeds ARE what your harvest.
and onion is a root first and planting the flowering seeds is less efficient than replanting the seeds humans have found out of the last thousand odd years.
cucmbers DO have seeds.

Pea pods have seeds within yes, but they cannot be removed for stacking purposes, onions af most if not all varieties produce seeds which can be harvested and take up less room to transport so again not a valid reason not to have them, and yes cucumbers have seeds but ONLY when found through WWW curing, there is to my knowledge no in game way to harvest the seeds from any growth stage, nor from cutting open the cucmber on harvesting such as with the pumpkin.

Thanks for the feedback though.

harvesting a cucumber DOES give you seeds AND a cucumber

the reason for not having the onion seeds are like i said for farming reasons, you dont know what kind of onion you end up with soo most onions are these clones from the root (the onion) up so that the type stays consistent and you can grow more onion per year if you plant a seed onion instead of onion seeds.

as for the peapod, well you indeed cant stack them...

Plant products should just stack in a limited capacity in inventory like seeds. Make farming great again!*

You should be asking why we replant beetroots and not beet seeds, and the same goes for carrots. That's just not how those roots work. Its not a potato or an onion, you don't just split more off of them to get more. Cucumbers and peas have the seeds inside of them, so I can at least let those slide. Hops are the seeds themselves right..?

Idk. Maybe. Not a big deal.
