Same concept as runestones, can put a short message or a name label onto wooden buildables like carts, wheelbarrows, study desks, cupboards etc
Not necessarily even visible graphical things, just a click or alt-click or shift-clickable display thatll pop up

Myeah. Idk. Would be a bit peculiar to implement generically.

A little sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but better than starting a new topic along a similar vein.

I know that there is a mechanic in game that allows a hearthling to ride their branded animal, even after logged out on a claim that is not theirs. Perhaps this can be extended to wooden objects like chests/cupboards/carts that will allow people to pick up those items even on another's claim without needing to have theft. Examining the object will show that it is 'owned' by another hearthling or yourself. Exactly who if you have them kinned (like with claims). As a deterrent, it counts as vandalism if you apply a brand to such an item. So better to just take the container with the goodies inside than trying to mark it as yours. (at least until it leaves the other's claim)
