Hunting Fix When?

Postby ColeAkrenach » Wed Feb 08, 2017 5:56 am

So, with all of the problems people have with hunting (and have been having for a long time), when will something actually happen to fix it?

What are the problems related to hunting?

Ants?

It doesnt make any sense fighting a boar or a bear and scape with 0 scraps.
It's annoying of course, but its normal.

The horse IS the solution. Its part of the games progression. You are not meant to catch a fucking bear on foot if its running, you are a human. You can not run faster than a deer or moose. Cheesing animals is a different issue entirely. The hunting itself, looked at without the abuse is fine. Yeah, animals run, and we have horses. I can't understand these post anymore. Offer some real critique or go somewhere else.

You can run faster than a deer that's been stabbed five times with a meter long blade. Also, realism is a non-argument here because animals don't have stamina which makes persistence hunting impossible while in reality it's humans' oldest technique and is still used effectively by some hunter-gatherers.

Wow...you read my suggestion, nice :D
The main thing in reality from what I understood is the thermoregulation, humans have the ability to sweat to cool down....many animals we hunted cannot sweat so they have to stop to rest to cool down their body...so in the long distance we have been able to catch them...how fascinating this thing is.....try to think at our ancestors hunting deers....wow
