UI Ideas

Postby Chebermech » Wed Feb 08, 2017 6:37 am

There are many things about current UI you can critique, things like esthetics that block the chat view or just take up too much space, which of course could be worked on, but also could be changed in custom clients (although i hope eventually there will be a UI touch up in original client), nevertheless the lack of binding hotkeys, creating additional buttons, button location manipulation and combat UI are the main things that I personally would love to have or have changed. So here are a few ideas I've came up with.

The images you will see below aren't showing an already made client, this is all just a product of my imagination thrown in a photoshop, something that I hope to see in the actual game one day, hopefully done by devs, and if not, then by someone who makes custom public clients. So here goes nothing:

First of all get rid of the hotkey bar and replace it with something like this...

Feel free to add to it, i might eventually add some more stuff to it, or just make a new post later with more UI ideas. And just wanted to add an advance response for people who would say something like "QQcumber but i dont want people to see my deck moves because deck building is a rocket science" sadly there aren't that many good abilities anyways, and deck building is not a rocket science...

loftar and good, easy to understand UI do not mix.

But being able to set my own hot-keys would be enough for me to put up with any terrible thing loftar could throw at us.

I'm more worried about the short link to internet explorer, to be honest...

Anyway, every thing that allow customization of UI is welcome
