Trolls heal from eating dead bodies

Basically the title. The strategy nowadays is to spam archer alts to kill trolls and pile dead bodies onto them until they just kill over. My suggestion is if a troll kills an alt they can eat the body and regain all their HP back while leaving all the gear and shit in a little pile of hearthling remains on the floor that the troll can walk over.

Go down to minehole, punch the troll.
Then go up, use dash or something to clear all your wounds.
Then go down again, punch it.
Repeat until troll dead.

Killed all my trolls this way, and it only has cost me 1 character.
I have killed 2 trolls

If you go down the minehole the second time, the troll will instantly throw cave-in to you, killing your character & if you go down when combat is over, the troll will regen its opening.
