Remove collision box from Display Sign

Postby twincannon » Thu Feb 16, 2017 8:25 pm

I really want to use the Display Sign all over the place - mark the contents of cupboards, crates, farm plots, etc... but the fact it has a tiny collision box basically makes it useless for me. I don't see why a hearthling couldn't just "step over" such a small object so maybe it would make sense (and make it more userfriendly) to just not have collision box?

I'd also accept cupboards having variable texture from the boards used
or pushout collisions <3

Or add same mechanic for cupboards. RMB with item on cupboard and item icon appears on the door.

Would, but that requires support for multiple bbox categories, for otherwise you could build a million signs on the exact same coordinate.

So what?

As a temp solution: wouldn't reducing the size of the box to 1x1 units (pixels, not map tiles) allow to reach over them into a cupboard?
