All clay items should be made from any clay, not just one

Earthenware platter and toy chariot are fixed by one clay arce clay, which is kinda limits players what they can make out of clay. Therefore I suggest that all clay craftables and constructions should accept any clay.

Yea why not? at least it would save time walking for hours looking for a mudflast, while shallow water is almost everywhere. Sure exploration and all, but that's what quests are for.

Not earthenware, porcelain. Also, porcelain dolls. It's like asking for B12s to be made out of any metal, or plain leather CTCs.

What would be the point in having six types of clay if you can make everything from any of them? Settling near the resources you want to use is part of the game, and you can always use roads if the resources are too far away.

Variable materials that contribute to different stats like how foods that are crafted by a wide range of fruits/meats/flours work?

Ball clay chariots have a quicker study time, acre clay gives more LP, gray clay uses less xp, etc

No, clay should be differentiated even further.

I like the different uses clay has, and agree they should remain. However I acknowledge that what can be made from one clay could likely be made from another. Perhaps items made from clay could take a route similar to variable food items in that each clay can be used for anything, but the type of clay is apparent in the color and benefits of the item. So acre would still make the best plates and chariots, but ball clay could do it, just at always a third of the effective quality that it produces.(q60 ball clay would make a q20 chariot).
But even I think thats a bit much for just clay.
