QoL change: Wheelbarrows to trees

Would it be possible to make it so if you ram a wheelbarrow into a tree, you can use it to take out the leafs without having to pick them up one by one? if an explanation is needed we can just say the force of the wheelbarrow crashing into the tree makes it so the tree falls and using their amazing speed the hearthlings can move the barrows to match where all the leafs will fall

even though i like the idea beceause it would make it so much easier and faster...
but nah iam pretty much against it as its stupid... if we follow your explanation... the force needed for that would probably destroy or at least damage the wheelbarrow quite a lot...
leaves dont fall out that easy... in autumn maybe yeah... summer or spring? meh... but try it in real life... jump with your head against a tree and see how many leaves fall vs how damaged your head is >_>

I like the direction you're thinking in though. What if we were able to use a blunt instrument (e.g. hammer, smithy's hammer, blunt end of the axe) to knock leaves and fruit off the tree? Then we could shift-rightclick to pick it up off the ground.

Im pretty sure that just clicking collect leaves is faster than picking them from the ground.

better yet, make them auto stockpile into an available adjacent space

Auto stockpile, or having them auto fill nearby empty wheelbarrows or wheelbarrows containing the same type of item. not like it would take more time to put a leaf directly into a wheelbarrow rather than into a backpack or travelers sack.
