I have an idea to propose for devs.
What if we had in-game store where we could buy items that can be put in the inventory, since we do have same aspect already for the store hats, but this time it would be for any in-game item that goes into inventory.
How this would work is that the price of the item would be determined by the rarity, like how hard it is to get in the early game and then later in the game and also by the quality.
For example 1 branch quality 1 would cost for example $0.01 since they are the most common thing you could get early on in the game, but its up to devs to decide if something that takes literally a second to get then it could be 10 branches quality 1 could cost $0.01 or 1 branch quality 10 or other. Same would apply for very early one in-game items such as soil, bark and so on, then other items that could be gain later on in the game such as ore which could cost for example $1 at quality certain low quality or anything that devs could think of. I am aware this would be a rather vague idea, but for example if player spawns in the middle of grassland, surrounded by water, sand, mudflats and not single tree or rock within 9 by 9 minimaps, then player could simple right click on their hearthfire and enter the in-game store to buy necessary inventory items, such as tools, resource, food or even curiosities. Sure some might think that it would make the game pay to win, but I doubt it would turn out that way, since following the formula 1 dandelion at quality 10 would cost something like $0.10 which can be found on grassland at very low per x exp like in couple of seconds. So I think this wouldn't hurt the game at all, but rather devs would gain even more income for better content to come our way.
Devs and guys let me know how does this sound to you and would it really make the game pay to win, or rather give players more options when they get stuck in a certain terrain and only option is to travel for hours or kill off the character and make a new one trying again.
