Time limited 'Saving a drowning victim' skill

Postby Reyajh » Thu Mar 02, 2017 2:15 am

Ok, so we were jumping thru some Vortexes when my village mate accidentally clicked twice on the next whirlpool causing his boat to break and his subsequent drowning before we could get to him to help. I personally had this happen as well, and as we stood there over his freshly drowned body, it occurred to me... Wouldn't it be cool to have a Resuscitation skill and the ability to revive a freshly drowned hearthling, along with an animation of the reviving player, perhaps pushing on his chest and water gushing out before those birdies start swirling above his head..?
Now I know we already have the Ferryman's ring and so I was thinking.., seeing as that is not necessarily difficult to acquire, but more-so time consuming, we could possibly have this skill be similarly costly to acquire...
Thoughts?
Just my .O2... Taste, drink.., like/hate...

+1 to CPR, come back to life with one HHP if used on hearthling 10 minutes within death.

Everything about this is yes. In fact, possibly make it so whenever a hearthling goes below 1 HHP, he enters "critical condition) and if someone get to him within like 5-10 seconds, has more Lore and/or Dexterity than his Constitution, has some special medical item, and takes around 5-10 minutes to revive him he can get him up to 1 HHP. Maybe more things you need so you can't just bring an alt into combat and revive yourself whenever you die.

Maybe you have like a minute to heal him but if he takes any more damage at all, SHP or HHP, he'll die.

Maybe you need more Will than the target's UA/MC to go into critical condition or you just die.

If you stay in critical condition past the timer you bleed out. Or just die, idk.

I just want a way to help dying friends. Also, let us pick up KO'd chars, but they can get up out of our hands when they wake up, if they so choose.
Total misplay.

Would be cool.
When the hearthling has drowned. There would be short time window like 5-15 minutes where you could right click him and either "finish him" which would kill him. Or then revive him, which would bring him back to life at 1/1/xxx health. With severe injuries of course.

+1

Would be good to have people get KO'd instead of outright murdered and have people do a coup-de-grace that would take a decent amount of time to charge up. That way if you still have friends they might be able to save you/drag your corpse away with them.

Some sort of hearth/ancestral magic to temporarily remove wounds/revive at a heavy debuff would be interesting too.

Not terrible!
