So i uploaded an image that does not have purple in it
it also shows in my Current uploads that it requires 0% purple
but when i go to my paint sketches it says i need 1 purple pigment??
even black and white paintings need purple, i dont get it.

It's just rounded downwards -- you probably have one pixel of purple in it or something.

i made a test
i created a 512x512 image in photoshop made it complete black, selected the brush tool and made it 1 pxl
painted a dot and uploaded it, it showed no purple only black same ingame.
made another one and painted 2 dots, uploaded it this time it showed me i need 0% purple, ingame it showed me i need 1 purple pigment.
i dont want to bother you, i just made this thread because i want to build a knarr but dont have cinnabar.

You're probably using a brush with some kind of antialiasing, causing intermediate values on nearby pixels which are then "rounded" to purple.

yes, i took a different brush and painted 2,3,4,5,6 purple dots and it showed me no purple at all, well gotta find that cinnabar then.

umm just save it as png with only 2 colours
