Are pearls rarer?

Boiled endless cupboards of mussels and no pearls to show for it

I can think of many others who are saying the same thing. 7 cupboards, no pearls?

These things seem to have been fated to death like glimmers

Having similar experiences tbh. 2-3 weeks ago i found ~8 bluebells per day for a solid 3 days and nothing ever since, just fukken bloated boletes.

I found one Bluebell and one Flotsam throughout my entire playthrough of w10.

Ive been lucky with bluebells but i havent even found one glimer in all this time. Just one flotsam with a shitty alt.
Fate system sucks. Again the fight against botters have become a pain for legit users...

No pearls in my village so far this world either. Have consumed cupboards of mussels.

I've boiled a couple inventory fulls at most and have received two pearls so far, maybe that's luck or maybe that's indicative of something more.

When I see a bluebell or flotsam, I try to gather nearby mussels fast. Not sure that its work that way, but I never boiled 8 cupboards for no pearl. Pearl per 2 cupboards max.

point of fate was to stop foragebots? and now foraging is instead nerfed too shit and on top of that we have fate... maybe at least remove fate?
