How to fix "sleeper agents" brainstorm

In the game's current state, fresh-spawned characters can be a real risk.
When a village recruits, people who join in and spawn at their beacons can rat them out to a bigger clan, and have them come in and steamroll.
This is kinda shitty. Why should we be scared to let a literal baby into our town?

So here, we will brainstorm how to fix this.

My first idea, which might be bad, is that entire accounts can be "bound" to a faction. (i.e. a village, or a realm.)
This would mean that all characters on that account can only be in one town/realm.
However, some people wouldn't be too happy with that.
AND, people could just make alt accounts. A workaround to this is to detect multiple accounts used on one computer. (I've seen custom clients do this.)

I don't have any other ideas on this.
What is your opinion on the topic?

the root problem you're trying to solve (infiltration) is one that real-world intelligence communities have been trying to tackle for decades, arguably centuries. Good luck!

Fresh-spawns shouldn't be able to do this. That's all I'm saying. If, maybe, a character who was born and grew up elsewhere were to go into the village and infiltrate, then sure. That's how it actually happens.

How it DOESN'T happen, is that a baby is born, walks straight out from between his mothers legs, picks up the nearest phone, and rats out all of the country's secrets to china.

People already know where the established factions are. As long as you have the proper security in place, the only thing they get from it is village chat and online members.

Vetting is hard, but I'm not sure we can do that much to change that.
