I know it's not pvp or whatever but I'll talk about it anyway. So right now baking, pan cooking and sausage making are intermediary food systems. They are a between foraging level and the end all that is cheese. Let's be honest here. Once you get a big enough horde of breeding animals to make maws (that you just feed with pumpkins thanks for that btw don't nerf it) you can do cheeses for every stat. Even with the dairy satiation nerf which just make cheese behave as an average 75% fep value high end cheese are simply better to spam eat than other foods and they are easier to make if you ignore the time investment which you should.
What I am suggesting is making endgame foods for baking, sausage making and pan handling.
Sausages should be easy just add a smoking system where you burn different woods to get way better feps (comparable with cheeses). Animals that produce little meat (foxes, badgers, crabs)[they also tend to have lower qs] or are rare (walruss) should make the more awesome smoked sausages.
Frying could be helped by adding oils. It is known that deep frying makes everything taste better even Mars bars. Olive oil and sunflower oil. Butter could be used but it will probably be easier to make butter than oil... so balance accordingly.
As for baking that's harder. One idea would be one of simple management: increase the ingredients of a recipe says 3-4 times without altering the model size and then you can just cut slices out of the baked product. You can eat the slices or the entire baked good. The entire good gives the sum of all the slices in feps but at a slight hunger discount. This will help somewhat. An other option would be to simply have recipes that require leavening and or refrigeration (ice cooling, evaporation refrigerators). This will require an overhaul of the recipes.
Oh yeah and pitroasts for large animals.
