Hearth magic to unstunt tree?

Stunted trees are annoying. Maybe add a new hearth magic to unstunt trees/bushes so they can continue growing?
Why or why not? thoughts?

Kind of agree with this, trees are getting stunted with an annoying regularity. Perhaps some sort of right click option to tend the tree or an item used on it that resets the tree's timer?

Why Not: Because it would torment players less

I mean objectively, it wouldn't change the situation. People would still bitch about it. The actual answer to this is "plant more trees". But for some reason, people don't view the volume solution as agency. This method would probably make players feel like they have agency over it, which would make them happier.

Annoying/bad (bad as in harmful to the player ingame) gameplay mechanics having agency to divert/alter the course of events is an overall good in my mind. Like firebrands, we have the option to create matches or flint/steel if it really annoys us too much to use them.

It's a bit different though because firstly irl you can do something about a stunted tree and the game is trying to resemble real world, secondarily a load of stunted trees look ugly as fuck and sixth and lastly some trees are more affected than others because some spawn seeds only when at 99.5% (which is also btw weird) and those trees can be really difficult to progress as a result if you are unlucky. Thirdly I quite like the thing with the firebrand, it contributes to the feeling of reality (particulrly as someone that quite likes hiking and has been in the situation of taking a while to get a fire going a few times). To conclude therefore stunted trees should be condemned.

Don't hate it. Will consider.
