I'd argue that instead we should have simple table types give a fixed boost, but reduced symbel space because it's almost impossible to have meaningful amounts of symbel as a starter. And leave the higher tier table as basically the same as the one that exists for all tables right now (maybe increased inventory? The inventory in a table is honestly meaningless due to cabinets so why not).
If you using 5 alts with 500 charisma for feasting isnt enought to say that symbel is OP. 90% players not exploiting bonfires.
Funny you mention that, I've never ever made a bonfire. Mostly because as a hermit, I'm generally doing a lot of stamina drain work at all times and need to eat regularly instead of all at once. And also because I dislike the use of alts, I've never really ground charisma since there's already a lot of obviously useful stats that need attention. Maybe you've inspired me to experiment

Anyway, how does that change the power of symbel? Having no experience with the bonfire system, all I know is that factions can already produce insane tables with high Q and really don't need the help of extra symbel slots. Conversely, noobs can barely access symbel at all and basically eat with 0 bonuses as a result. Reworking tables to give inherent buffs to beginners (who are otherwise not accessing them at all due to the quality dual impact on wear and effectiveness) is the only kind of empowerment I'd want to see.
Please do explain more about bonfires and the impact on this system though. I'm very curious.
