Cabinet organization idea

Right now, the game encourages us to have cabinets for non-stockpile-able things. This leads to large rooms full of indistinguishable cabinets. Eventually you memorize the parts of your village that you use, but it's still a real pain during the process. Also, display signs are a really cool idea that I feel doesn't get used too much. Inside a house, space is precious and frequently angles prevent you from seeing something low on the ground unless using mods to make cabinets look really short. So my thought is, why can't we attach display signs onto cabinets? Or alternatively, allow use to Rclick an item onto a cabinet and have the item's image appear on top of the cabinet the same way that display signs do.

This would allow sharing base organization with fellow villagers to be much easier. It would allow re-organization of a cabinet space without the pain of needing to search each and every cabinet because you forgot where the boneglue is.

imo this is not low priority i struggle daily with searching cub boards (or i did, i live with less now days) but even on chest if we chould place display sign it whould be awsome

also if chould add wood color to chest and cupboard id also be happy wouldhelp organization

I'd prefer the small immersion break for a more flexible distinguishing system personally. But something would be nice.

Being able to put signs flat ontop of cupboards would be something...

Took me checking about 15 cupboards though, but I did manage to find that boneglue btw. Just in case anyone was concerned.

Sorry I can't be concerned.., nor sympathetic with your paltry ordeal, of having to search thru a meager 15 cupboards to find said BG. Pathetic!
I'm sure my cupboards easily surpass 50 by now... And I wholeheartedly agree. Truely something needs be done! +1
