the danger of ticks and hunting

whould be interesting if when fighting, skinning or butchering an animal theres a small chance to get infected with a tick
say if untreated slowly grows mabye even causes anouther thing to pop up to a worse thing like Lyme disease
and if there was some sort way of way of removing that can be messed up
Crushing the tick may lead to the release of further dangerous fluids. It is important that the mouthparts be completely removed from the wound

if mess up and the head remains it dont cause as bad of a disease as Lyme disease but still does cause issues with parasites and infection of wound

Use bone pins to remove most of body, some soft of special tool to remove everything. Doing it on yourself has a higher failure chance than someone helping you. Higher q animals carry higher q ticks, leading to requiring higher q tools and higher stated doctors.

Ticks could be fun, yes. I like it.

OMG, more ways to die a horrible death? What if I hunt only to get meat and fat to make some soap for my infected wound?
Why don't you go mine at lvl 5 instead, if you think horrible deaths are fun?
Wastelands. Ruins everywhere from proud civilizations, with today's survivors scavenging whatever they can carry even if they can't even use it. Eating rats cooked alive is OK for everyone. Walking around naked is natural, since very few have time to waste in getting a rag to cover their deep wounds. And the game is only Alpha.

The tick itself once removed could be a curio

Really?

I honestly wish you lot would stop coming up with ideas for injuries! ... :x :P ..

I find them so tedious! Injuries I mean, not the ideas .. :) .. I got nerve damage because you can't even treat adder bites, which I only got in the first place because I had a bucket in one hand and a tsack in the other and then dropped my sword trying to swap and the stupid snake just sat on my sword! It took me two days to find a root to get rid of it!

I wouldn't mind injuries half so much if there were more simple treatments! 8-)
