plumbing leading to faucets, showers, bathtubs, irrigation...

artificial ponds with fish farms :o :o

also works for making pretty villages

+1 I like it. Besides those plumbings/aqueducts can serve as conveyors for some stuff, like it works with transportation of wood by rivers. In a form of walkable ground tiles perhaps? Anyway I'd love to see living breathing water features in our villages. :)
And here I should apologize for my spelling... But I won't! Deal with it :P

Water speed should be dependant on river width, so we can have rapids (hard to travel in the wrong direction) and quite still lakes in other places.
