Passenger Carts

Would it be possible for a passenger to ride in a cart, but keep it from using the back two liftable slots?

I have suggested that to loftar, but he didn't seem convinced.

Why not chariot? They're much cooler and feature prominently in lots of mythologies.

From a technical, or a gameplay standpoint?

and how would u navigate all at once? would be hard to do it efficiently i guess(even if it is possible to add something like this), so as a result u would move slower and it makes this idea pointless

Well, we already have the function in place with boats - inventory or passengers. The difference I suggest is a maximum of 1 passenger, whilst giving up 2 possible spaces of inventory. More could seem reasonable, depending on the time of display imagery - sitting on the edge as opposed to sitting with ones back to the interior side, holding on for dear life as you go across the bumpy forest.

It provides an early alternative for companion travel, instead of jumping straight to the 6? person Wagon.

Honest to say but the reason in part stems from going to visit others in the Realm, having to travel by boat then foot and possibly boat again to get there - boonies, at times, without crossroads. If they don't have a wagon and want to show me around I'm essentially bumbling around awkwardly following them.

With a function like this it's a simple way for a pair of travels to get from point A to point B with a bit more ease - not unlike how boats are now.

Oh, for that time we were heading to my camp, and you were walking and I was pulling an empty cart with a horse? :D
