Fitted Cupboards

Really annoying finding things in cupboards so why not make it so that when items are placed in cupboards they enter a single pool of objects that can be accessed by a hearthling standing in that room such that when you attempt to craft an object all the cupboards are automatically searched and object is crafted if requirements present in that room?

While I'd love a mechanic like that, I think Jorb and Loftar's innate love for inventory tetris prevents this from ever happening. Would be very convenient, though.

The inventoy tetris is annoying, but it's still fun. I have a lot of momments that i get everything to go and remember "Oh, i need to use a bucket for this craft" and need to rebalance everything on my inventory. Annoying, but fun.

Skeptical, I have to admit.
