Let us build walls in basements

Mineholes can be built in basements now. Rather than walling the house, could we wall the minehole in the cellar?

No. Else the next request is 'we can build mineholes* and walls, let us build windmills/wells/village claims'.

Somehow, I can imagine a basement with walls.
Real-world (read common sense) wise
I've seen houses which had one staircase to basement and then 3 rooms in a basement. These rooms were separated by common brick walls. They were not thick but IMO they could be made thick.

I cant see any reason why I cant dig a hole in the ground of my basement irl deep enough to reach water.
On the other hand, any structure larger than 'normal' basement height or lenght/width cannot be built there.

Game-wise
Un-walled minehole feels like danger. I personally do not remember do people get visitor buff coming through it or not. And anyways I DO remember that there were bugs with bypassing visitor the buff and although bug-users were punished, vistims did not get damage compensation.
Meaning I would never ever ever build a minehole in house where I store smth I regret to be stolen.
And I dont see a reason to build another house and basement which I don use but place a minehole instead.
In the end we have a mechanic which would never be used by smart and careful people. And would endanger inexperienced players.

Which is actually quite common in brick-based houses with full cellars, these walls are load bearing and carry the floor(s) and walls above them.

On topic: Being able to place mineholes in cellars is a nice thing in case you want to hide them for small places which are designed to be uninteresting to raiders. The downside should be that you shouldn't be able to visitor people entering through it by walling them.

Maybe.
My personal feelings are.
1) If someone breaks into base - they will look into each and every corner. They'lll even destroy all q10 crucibles, anvils and everything destroyable.
2) If I see a walled house - it stores something valuable and must be checked
3) Only inexperienced players would be victims of that 'downside'. And we are kinda trying to make the game a bit more forgiving to them.
4) I cannot see any big advantage for strong ones from granting subj request. If you can explain it, I would most probably agree that this is a bad idea.

I don't see anything wrong with this idea. but just make it a cell.
Metal Gate, and metal bars.
The only way to bash it is by breaking down the house.
Takes w/e amount of hours a normal wall takes to dry to remove exploiting.

Also this opens a window to later updates for when we can build walls and doors inside our houses for modular houses.

Somwhat skeptical of this, as it seems it could lead to very little good, but a lot of shenanigans, but will consider.
