Stop drinks satiation reset abuse

Now anyone with access to tea+beer+wine+milk is unaffected by satiations.
On well-established base these drinks can be produced in barrels without much effort.

This makes weaks weaker and progress slower. And it makes strong stronger and progress faster.

On the other hand, drinks must have meaning it's a nice mechanic and nice wiring the real-world activity to game activity.

I invite another proposals which solve the issue without ruining the need to drink completely. And I know that big factions and power eaters will make 10 thouthands arguments in order to protect their super fast stat leveling.

My proposal is:
1. Change satiation to: "Once in in-game day the satiation with lowest percentage is reset"
2. Make a 1 unit of drink (sip feels to small so it may be 0.25l or 0.5l) to give Food variety bonus.
3. Make the same amount drink add 0,5-1% to Hunger (in order to avoid making drinks 'free' variety bonus)
4. Make additional, small, once per +stat 'proper drink combo' bonus for drinking proper drink immediately after eating a food. Like baked+tea, cheese/fish+wine, meat+beer, greens+milk.

I don't think it really matters because people who don't have drinks properly covered yet should just work on it a bit to be equal.

If they don't then they're ''behind'' compared to the groups who do, but just because of own laziness.

I think it could be reworked, but this is not necessarily the method in my eyes.

Anything unachievable by players who cant spend 8h/day and more for playing can be justified as laziness.

But the truth is - many people come here to play casually, for fun. And yes, they still want to be maybe not as strong as power-players but also not 10-100 times weaker.
That's why I do agree that players who have drinks should have advantage above those who don't.
But that advantage should not be unlimited.

How many +stat event will get player while 1 satiation decreases from 100% to 49% ? If his max stat is between 100 and 200 then IMO it is between 5-25 +stat events.
So with my proposal every rl day player with drinks covered will be rewarded with 15-75 bonus stats for his effort. It is completely enough I think.

This advantage is not ''unlimited'' regardless of what else you're saying, because every person could with little effort provide sufficient drinks for themselves.

If this on it's own is a challenge or something then you're already way further behind than you think, because this should be easy.

Besides that I'd rather see a bigger rework instead of a tweak like this.

''But the truth is - many people come here to play casually, for fun. And yes, they still want to be maybe not as strong as power-players but also not 10-100 times weaker.''

Those people who play casually for fun deserve to be 10-100 times weaker if they know 10-100 times less what they're doing and 10-100 times more clueless about game in general.

Everything is relative, at the end of the day if everyone has equal setups then it's more about amount of players you have.

Before you know it you have people suggesting you cannot be in combat with multiple players ''because the casual players dont have so many friends so still in combat not as strong as power-players but also not multiple times weaker!!!''

At the end of the day if you play casual keep it casual. There's still plenty of things to do without grinding things hard or needing to be on top of the world.
The only thing is you should not seek conflict with those who are.

The reality is even if all hermits have barrels of drinks on day 1 spawning in their base they still lose all fights so what does it really matter

I love how he also is referring to hermits/slower progress people who don't spend "8 hours a day" on game in this. even though to get those drinks takes a lot less time than that. For example like 1hour 30mins(around that) for treepots, BAM that's your tea, let it grow up and collect leaves (takes days to grow without any interaction). Beer, if you do any farming anyway, beer is easy to make with like barley -> herb table -> kiln to burn it -> Mix it with Hops(grown crop), you can also do that while waiting for your trees to sprout on the herb table. Wine is simple aswell, dig some clay -> make a kiln -> make bricks -> make a crucible -> Dig sand -> Burn glass in crucible(coal as fuel -> tar kiln ez to make) -> 10glass, 6blocks, 4string =Demijohn -> Harvast grapes that you have planted, use extractor press for juice then put it inside demijohn and leave it alone for a few days ->Wine.

Milk is the harder one for hermits/more casual players since taming is a key ingredient for producing large amounts of Milk without problem. You just need to grind up fighter stats during the time you do have just high enough that you can fight a sheep (60ua = overkill) or cow, then you just milk it once a day and bam 20L or so a day (varies on milk Quantity).

The points you've made in this post is to say that you are that casual that you wish that 1hour a day is enough to become as good as people who dedicate time or work with big/good groups of people, Which in turn would make that completely retarded and demotivating to more of the playerbase than you think. could you imagine inviting like 10 of your friends to play with you (All experienced players) and even though they put in so much work, they're still on exactly the same level as a LazyAss 1hour (or less) a day scrub who doesn't know what the definition of "Get Gud" is?

For milk:

I do not see the problem, if you play 'hard' 8 hours a day, then you'll have your own drinks soon enough.

If you are indeed a causal player then you probably don't care about getting 10-20 fep events a play session.
