Different Skin Tones

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

Different Skin Tones

I searched for a topic about this and didn't find anything, so here you go.

Different skin tones would be a nice addition to the game and it should be easy to implement. Take the existing hearthling skin texture, darken it a bit and there you go.

Dark skin wouldn't fit the game's setting but let's face it, H&H takes place in a fantasy world. The campaign cap has no place in ancient Europe yet it's in the cash shop and nobody minds.

In your opinion.

I'd say no.

Rather have devs working on content or things that provide them money (the hat you mentionned for example) than this.

Wut? I'd like to think more ways to express oneself in a MMO setting would attract more potential players. Therefore more money.

World 11: Community Fair Worker
World 10: Co-Founder of the Northern Kingdom, Resident of Emerald City, Founder and Mayor of the Hole of Glory, RamZ's Art Emporium at CF, Member of the CFL Rams.
World 9: Founder of SnoopVille, Resident of Emerald City
World 7: Hermit and Neighbor to a dead Korean

Being able to wear a different expression (especially on the male character, that constantly looks like an axe murderer on duty) would be nice and, at least by me, prefered to being able to change skin color.

The thing is, it wouldn't be that much work to implement this. I don't know much about game development but this seems like something that could be done in an afternoon.

I agree. Designing new faces is more work than recoloring an already existing texture, though.

Then we're at leat two.

Certainly, but it would IMHO be worth the effort. As I missed the paper bag hat I don't pick male characters...

WE WUZ VIKINGZ AND SHIET.

In all seriousness though, new facial expressions would be great. Even if they just remade the current male face.

More character customization would be neat, indeed.
