New Select Area miner bug

So if you select an area that has no mineable tiles and walk away, you go through different levels of mine or whatever, you can't pick any ore/stones from stockpiles or else it will continuously drop it on the ground since the mining function is still going on in that area on nothing, only way to stop it is to mine a nearby tile it seems to cancel the old mine area selected.

I don't quite understand what you're saying, and I can't obviously find any behavior similar to it. Please explain further?

Do you use custom client and have the "drop auto mined ore" setting turned on?

Edit: autocorrect
