More wounds = more hhp damage

More wounds = more hhp damage

So I came up with this idea, the more unhealed wounds you have, the more hhp damage you take so going into combat wounded makes you risk your life and you can actually die and you have to cure wounds

Obviously, the higher hhp damage would have to start "counting" after a while after getting wounded so you don't start getting more hhp dmg mid-fight.

Agree. There needs to be a balance of risking to die vs. having fun fighting. Some fighters do not feel happy that they cannot hurt their opponents significantly.

I believe just plain adding more wounds such as "A Limb Ripped Apart" or something could make a significant difference.

There is already a variant on this in that, since the more grievous types of wounds only materialize from already having less grievous wounds while taking further damage, there is a graver risk from going into combat while already being wounded. I'm not sure if there also needs to be that more wounds means more HHP damange, but I don't hate the idea either. I'll keep it in mind.

Noobs with less access to healing treatments have a higher chance of dying to established players or the environment while established players just won't go out when they're hurt?

I don't see the benefits tbh

This. What exactly is the point? People will just not go out.
