Just two interesting ideas I saw on the update post with slimes, I thought that they deserved a topic in C&I, so here we are.
Slimes as a Fuel Source:
Alternative fuel source for torches. Possibly other things that tar or sticks could be used for, but I worry that this could increase the q grind to quickly.
Another possible way this could be, is if slimes could be added to tar kilns, but produce much more tar than either blocks or boards. If this method was used, maybe they do not produce any coal.
There is more that can be done with this, but I feel like this is a good starting point.
Slime Glue:
Allow slime balls to be crafted into glue. Not sure what the recipe would be, but as suggested in the update post...
5 Slimes + 1L water = 1 unprepared slime glue.
It was suggested that this would then be dried on a herbalist table, but I think that wouldn't work as it would just dry the glue out. An idea I had would be to boil the glue, like you would bone glue. Or possibly put it on a drying rack to stretch the glue out. Would be interesting if the glue slowly extends out visually.

These ideas are not mine originally, I just thought that C&I would be a better place for them, than the update post.
