So how about have skeletons reanimate after a certain amount of time this year? (say.... 24hrs after they turned into a bag of bones?, and after the event after 48hrs skeletons have a chance to reanimate every so often similar to the way trees grow in this game).
- Skeletons that still have their skull attached would be stronger than those without.

Thinking on it a little more, I think a lot could be done with the deceased. So here's a few additional ideas:
- The strength of skeletons depend on the mine level they are at, with lvl 1 being the weakest, and lvl 5 being the strongest (and consequently, the rarest and most difficult to find).
- The chance of a skeleton reanimating depends upon the level they are at, with lvl 5 having a high chance of reanimation.
- Skeletons that have not been found in a long, long time (a week or two+?) will emit a "Wandering Spirit", which triggers an EXP event.
- If a corpse wearing a hat turns into a skeleton, the skeleton will retain the hat and wear it upon reanimating.
- And hopefully in the future we can have skeletons still at least wear the gear rather than drop it all over the floor, and thus have armor'd animated skeletons.
- If Personal Beliefs or anything akin to that are brought back, the reanimated skeletons and wandering spirits could be different to reflect what the deceased believed in life.
