When firebrands burn down they should turn to ash by default

Its so annoying when firebrand burns down and you get nothing in return unless you put it in the inventory. So why not make it by default that when firebrand burns down it should turn to ash no matter what, since if at least it failed to light something it should at very least turn to ash.

no, u hold it in your hand as it burns super fast and therefor u drop the ash as u burn your hand.
Maybe add a wound so that this becomes more obvious

Yeah if anything, you should get a small burn wound when it burns out in your hand.
