There are wooden palisades, so why not stone walls?

I think that having stone walls would be a good idea, but I haven't found them anywhere on the wiki or elsewhere. They would use about 100 stone, similarly to palisades, they could have large gates, portcullises possibly, and drawbridges using wood.
If I
stone walls are in the game, I'm so sorry, please don't judge me.

Make friends with the other crabs or try to escape the bucket.

There's hardly any reason to build a brick-wall over palisade currently, adding another tier in between would be so utterly pointless.

why does it have to be a tier at all? why cant it just be flavor.

Just because its pointless now, doesnt mean it will continue to be in the future.

Wouldn't be pointless if you could attach them to towers, or if towers had to be the corners.

Or if there were walkways ontop of it, for archery or tar traps (not that we'll have traps anytime soon)

I like the idea of just flavours. What could be done, though, is that blocks are added which you can stand on, and fire from behind walls.

Brick and stonewalls don't have to be classified vertically in tiers. Each could have its own special features so that one doesn't make the other obsolete.

For now, though, if you have enough time you can build stone towers one beside the other.

Stone walls for the larp god!
“We still, alas, cannot forestall it-
This dreadful ailment's heavy toll;
The spleen is what the English call it,
We call it simply, Russian soul.”

An idea to consider: Tedium, a Feature.
