Truffles and pigs

I think pigs a little useless now, they haven't special abilities, like cow produce milk, sheeps for wool. What about using pigs for truffles searching? Use them for study or eat for good feps.

I'm pretty sure theres a lot of mushrooms capable of making fairy rings. Its just an effect created when they consume from one spot and radiate outwards from it in a circle.

Also, can anyone confirm if truffles are tasty? They look inedible like charcoal briquettes.

Some claim they just taste like old cardboard while others like the flavor very much.
Seems like the only possible way to find out how they taste is to try them yourself...
