They should just remove the death bonus completely, but likely this won't be done this world.
Specialisation isn't a bad thing.

On a related note, suicide shouldn't be necessary imo; they should just make death far more ubiquitous and unavoidable.

They should remove the need to kill oneself to realistically accomplish the task.

They are long term goals meant to be completed over the coarse of a long period of time. Without the death reset mechanic they will be perfect.
I see nothing wrong with having to do 100 quest to get a credo for the lategame. I also see room for more dangerous quest that can shave off multiple quest at once however. I'm still hoping dungeons of some sort get added eventually that offer a variety of rewards.
