Cold mountains

Theres snow in mountains, this means its cold. And also I can sometimes hear the cold wind blow and the freezing mountain rivers flow.

Maybe you should get frostbites if you stay in the mountains for too long or swim in the cold rivers.
This could be prevented by having proper clothing equipped or drinking hot liquids such as tea.

Also moving in the snow could be crawling or walking speed at the most, this could be made faster by certain type of shoes or skis.

This sounds good, snow mountains are rare and you should prepare to such kind of travel i guess ;) +1

Now that we have winter and snow, these two should drain your stamina even at walking speed!
To prevent this, snowshoes or skis would be appropriate.

And all mentioned above can be tied to the fact that mountains are pretty “valuable” biome with kewl localized resources, which are exploited. So, making mountains impassable for horses, wagons and passable with skis might somewhat change the situation to good. Or to bad, because gatherer-alts will just stay there, they don’t need to move.

I would love skis... but they don't do so good going uphill. My question is... how fast could we go downhill?

Now that we have seasons I would really like to see these added into the game! (With some disadvantage for not using them when the snow is deep)
