Jeweler Credo

Postby spavaloo » Sun Nov 05, 2017 5:35 pm

Like it says on the tin. Dependent on Miner or Blacksmith or Tailor or some combination of the three. Final benefit would be a chance to paradoxically increase gem size when cutting.

Proposed progression:
1. Dexterity +15 and Psyche +15
2. Increased chance of success when cutting gems
3. Increased chance to mine out gems
4. Further increased chance of success when cutting gems
5. Chance to increase gem size when cutting

There could instead be bonuses to gilding with gems instead of some of these options.

i think 3 mine out gems not jeweler strong side(as an irl jeweler would say)
5 is also too magical
need sort of
3. bonus q to craft jewelery
5. first gilding gem is always successful

and for more various maybe:
4. better chance to collect shards to make an other gem when work

What kind of magic must we have to gain a marvel such as making a gem grow bigger? ;)

I love this idea!

Credos aren't shit at all! I sure love handing hundreds of trinkets of random bullshit to trees to unlock passive, negligible perks, up to the point of having to do it 12 times just for a single level!

I split the more general credo quest discussion off to here: viewtopic.php?f=48&t=59098 as it does deserve its own thread for discussion and consideration.
