Visit Ludmir quest can't be done

I got a quest to 'visit Ludmir' from a tree I went and talked to for another quest. (This is my second day playing, so apologies if there are details missing...) I found Ludmir, eventually, but he/she/it is on land described as 'part of Honeycomb Hideout', and all I get when I click on the tree is 'This land belongs to Honeycomb Hideout'. So the quest is un-doable. (And if someone from Honeycomb Hideout would like a basket of entrails and intestines, there is one by the foot of the tree - it automatically put it there when I right clicked on the tree, but won't let me pick it up. So how about a 'do you really want to donate this to someone' message when this occurs? )
