Cave Walls (More Dwarven Living)

I would be interested in having the ability to smooth out cave walls into a flat surface while keeping their original texture( as opposed to the paved texture). The durability change to this would only change to a number relating to the level of the world it is on. this is intended to be a cosmetic change for cavedwellers. once smoothed a wall tile will no longer produce any items and simply gets destroyed if mined out.

In relation to this, I would like to suggest a buildable structure that allows us to replace cave walls in a texture based on a stone we choose. For example, I dig into a wall of granite and get the room the size i want it, however there are a couple squares of sandstone. This would allow me to dig out the sandstone and rebuild a wall with granite so that it looks as if i dug the room out of a solid chunk of granite. I could see this option requiring a lot of stone and possibly some metal. once built it would be treated as the smoothed cave wall above and is simply destroyed if mining is attempted.

These suggestions are based upon the opinion that only the single story buildings should be built in a cave, and we should be digging out rooms and not building towers.
