Lazy fix for (you need frying pan, etc..)

So I know writing tooltips isn't fun, but could we have checks for cooking implements occur before ingredients?

A bit sick of (I can't do that dave, you need a frying pan) after I get ingredients together. I would like that told to me before I rummage for ingredients.

a little exclaimation point icon on the craft window would indicate that you do not have all items or are not standing in the right spot(like using a crucible).

Wouldn't even be that much writing. A few lines of code here and there attached would pull into a couple of tooltip lines that would generically read "workstation" if there was a workstation, like a cauldron, and "tool" if a tool is needed, like a frying pan. Probably would require more thinking and updating of individual objects and recipes in the database than actual coding.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Just going to necro this thread because I had the same idea. Like if in the crafting window there was a little cauldron or fire or frying pan to tell you if that recipe needs it to be able to cook it. There's lots of things earlygame that I've ignored thinking it needed a frying pan only for it to actually need just a fire. And vice-versa too.
